Supply of liquefied petroleum gas for heat production

Summary

The tender is for the supply of liquefied petroleum gas, a propane-butane mixture, to produce heat at Jaunpiebalga Secondary School, Gaujas Street 41, during the 2026/2027 heating season. The supplier must also provide a mobile gas storage tank and ensure its safe transport, connection and disconnection, tank replacement, gas shut-off and equipment relocation if emergency repairs require them, and instruction for the buyer’s representative on safe system operation. The estimated quantity is 620 MWh; the buyer may increase or decrease it by up to 10% during the contract. The contract runs for 12 months or until its value is reached, whichever occurs first. Gas must be delivered within two working days of an order and only on working days between 08:30 and 16:00. The combined propane and butane content must be at least 94%; the gas must support heat production at outdoor temperatures down to -30°C and meet applicable quality and safety requirements. Goods and services originating in Russia or Belarus may not be used. The bidder must demonstrate the required registrations and authorisation to supply gas and submit a gas quality certificate. It must have at least one liquefied petroleum gas supply contract, performed or ongoing since 2021, using a mobile storage tank, with a supplied-goods value of at least EUR 20,000 excluding VAT, and provide one or two client references. Offers must be submitted electronically through Latvia’s e-procurement system. Price is the only award criterion; the offer must state a maximum price per MWh that cannot be increased during the contract.
