Demolition of the public toilet at 2B Viestura Street, Jēkabpils, and design and construction of a new toilet
Summary
The procurement covers demolition of the existing public toilet at 2B Viestura Street in Jēkabpils and the design, construction and author supervision of a new toilet building of up to 60 m². The new facility must include separate women’s and men’s toilets, a toilet accessible to people with reduced mobility and suitable for childcare, and an auxiliary room. The works also include necessary utility connections and landscaping, including access paths, planting and street furniture. The design must fit the historic urban setting and ensure accessibility. Under the main tender requirement, the works must be completed within three months of contract signature, including handover for use. The procurement is not divided into lots; one bid may be submitted for the entire scope, and variants are not allowed. Bids must be submitted electronically through the procurement system and in Latvian. Evaluation awards up to 80 points for price, 10 for the designer’s qualifications and 10 for the construction works manager’s qualifications. There is no minimum turnover requirement, but bidders must demonstrate the specified previous experience in demolition, construction, design and author supervision, and provide appropriately qualified specialists.
