Summary

The tender concerns the additional design and construction of the second-stage operating block on the second floor of Building 17 at Riga 1st Hospital, Bruņinieku Street 5, Riga. The contract covers updates and additions to the existing design, coordination of the revised design sections, specialised operating-room solutions, construction works, supply and installation of equipment and systems, commissioning, testing, handover and author supervision of the bidder’s design solutions. The works must be completed within 9 months after contract signature, excluding time required for approval by external authorities. The works are not divided into lots, and one tender must cover the entire scope. The deadline for electronic submission is 23 September 2026 at 10:00. The completed works carry a 60-month warranty. The contractor must coordinate all systems, minimise disruption to hospital operations, implement infection-control and dust-control measures, test and commission the systems, provide as-built documentation and train the client’s staff.
