Wood chip supply to Kuldīgas Hospital
Summary
The tender concerns the supply of wood chips to Kuldīgas Hospital in Latvia. The planned maximum volume is up to 4,800 bulk cubic metres during a 12-month contract, although the contracting authority does not guarantee that the full volume will be purchased. Deliveries must be made in batches within five working days after an order, using the supplier’s own transport, to Aizputes iela 22, Kuldīga. The wood chips must meet specified quality limits, including moisture of no more than 55%, ash content of no more than 3%, bark and sawdust content of no more than 5% each, and limits for needles, sand, decay and branch chips. The material must not contain damaging foreign matter such as stones, metal, plastic, oversized wood pieces, frozen chips, snow or ice. The supplier must check for metal contaminants and accept that non-compliant deliveries may be rejected and removed at the supplier’s expense. One complete tender must be submitted electronically by 21 September 2026. The economically most advantageous tender will be selected using price, worth up to 90 points, and transport distance from the production or packing site, worth up to 10 points.
