Supply of wood pellets for the 2026/2027 heating season in Limbazi, Talsi, Sigulda, Valka and Aluksne

Summary

The tender covers the supply of 100 tonnes of wood pellets for the 2026/2027 heating season to five locations: Aluksne (25 tonnes), Valka (17 tonnes), Limbazi (25 tonnes), Sigulda (18 tonnes) and Talsi (15 tonnes). Delivery, unloading and placement must be completed within one calendar month of contract signing, in accordance with the proposed delivery week. The pellets must meet specified technical requirements, including a 6 mm diameter, heating value of at least 4,200 kcal/kg, ash content of no more than 0.5%, relative moisture of no more than 10%, bulk density of 650–750 kg/m³ and ash melting temperature of at least 1,350°C. Offers must be submitted electronically by 9 September 2026, and the lowest price excluding VAT is the main award criterion. If prices are equal, the planned delivery week will be decisive.
