Purchase of Metalworking Equipment

Summary

The procurement is divided into two separate lots: one CNC milling machine with accessories for metalworking and one CNC lathe with accessories, with delivery planned for 2027. For either lot, the equipment must be delivered, installed and commissioned at Roņu iela 2, Liepāja, within 10 months of contract signature. The supplier must train at least two employees of the purchaser and provide documentation certifying their acquired operating skills. A bid may cover only the full scope of a lot, and only one variant may be submitted for each lot. A site visit before submitting a bid is mandatory, and the bid must include an inspection record signed by both parties. The bidder must demonstrate that it is the manufacturer or an authorised representative/partner, has delivered and installed at least one comparable metalworking machine during the previous three years, and has staff with relevant delivery and installation experience. Manufacturer documentation must demonstrate compliance with the technical specifications, CE marking and applicable standards. Evaluation awards up to 70 points for total cost, 20 for electricity consumption and 10 for a longer warranty; the minimum warranty is 12 months. The bid price must include the equipment, delivery, installation, training and warranty-period maintenance. An advance payment of up to 20% is possible, subject to an unconditional guarantee for the same amount. Bids must be submitted electronically in Latvian. Technical documentation may be in another language if accompanied by a compliant translation into Latvian or English.
