Works to remedy unhealthy housing through state action in substitution for owners

Summary

A French state authority is procuring works across the Île-de-France region to carry out orders addressing unhealthy and unsafe housing in place of defaulting owners. The framework agreement has six technical lots: specialist cleaning and disinfection; clearance and lead removal; general building works and roads and networks; interior finishing; electrical works and electric heating; and plumbing, gas heating and ventilation. Annual ceilings range from €300,000 to €800,000 excluding VAT, totalling €2.5 million per year; the initial 12-month term may be renewed up to three times.
