The Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region is commissioning a study to assess the commercial development potential of cross-border passenger and freight rail links between France and Italy. The study covers a market-potential assessment, forward-looking analysis and scenario development, followed by refinement of the selected scenarios and a final synthesis. It focuses on links between the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France and the Italian regions of Liguria, Piedmont and Lombardy; the contract is not divided into lots and is planned to last 12 months.
