Public-service concession for TCL urban passenger transport in the Villefranche-Beaujolais-Saône area

Summary

SYTRAL Mobilités is procuring a public-service concession to operate and maintain the TCL urban passenger transport network across the 18 municipalities of the Villefranche-Beaujolais-Saône agglomeration. The service comprises 6 regular bus routes covering about 970,000 km per year, 18 school routes covering about 235,000 km per year and 5 demand-responsive transport services covering about 230,000 km per year. It represents approximately 5.4 million passenger journeys annually and requires a workforce of about 80 full-time equivalents; additional tasks and services for passengers with reduced mobility may also be ordered. The contract is planned for two years from 1 January 2028, with a possible extension of up to two years; its estimated value of €35 million is based on the maximum four-year term.
