Subscription of insurance contracts
Summary
The municipality of La Mézière is tendering six insurance-contract lots for five years, from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2031: public-liability insurance, functional-protection insurance, legal-protection insurance, motor insurance, property-damage insurance and cyber-risk insurance. The motor cover includes, among other things, third-party liability in and out of circulation, legal protection, fire, glass breakage, theft, accidental damage and assistance. The public-liability lot includes broad cover for bodily, property and financial loss, with a €15 million per-claim limit for the combined category of bodily, property and financial damage. For property damage, the base offer has a general €3,000 deductible and a mandatory alternative with a reduced deductible, subject to specified special deductibles. The other lots cover functional protection, legal protection and cyber risks. Offers must be submitted electronically by 30 October 2026 at 12:00. They must be written in French, priced in euros and remain valid for 180 days. Evaluation is based on technical quality (40%), price (40%), claims-management quality (15%) and environmental performance during delivery (5%). Bidders must complete the application and commitment forms, provide references and the applicable general and special insurance terms, and submit the requested technical and pricing information. Contracts may be terminated annually on six months’ notice. The successful bidder must provide the required administrative evidence and submit a coverage note within 10 days after notification of the contract.
