Crewed water-bombing helicopter hire for wildland firefighting

Summary

The Sarthe Departmental Fire and Rescue Service is procuring crewed water-bombing helicopters to fight fires in natural areas. The service covers 2027–2029 and includes a fixed component with aircraft availability from 21 June to 21 August and 180 flight hours, as well as additional services depending on operational needs. The estimated contract value is €2 million.
