CICTA 2026 Bluefin Tuna At-Sea Observation Services

Summary

The French Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture is procuring a single-lot framework agreement for recruiting, training and providing observers for bluefin tuna operations at sea. Observers will monitor activities aboard vessels towing tuna cages, check compliance with conservation rules, record and report vessel and fishing activity, collect scientific data and review transfer videos. The agreement has a maximum value of EUR 440,000 excluding VAT, runs for one year from 1 April 2027 or the later notification date, and may be renewed three times for one year each.
