Deep clean-out of the firing butt at Bois l’Évêque 400-metre range

The French Ministry of the Armed Forces is procuring works to maintain the 400-metre firing range at Bois l’Évêque in Pierre-la-Treiche. The single, non-divided contract covers deep clean-out No. 2 of the firing butt, including removal of sand, reshaping and rebuilding the earth butt, repairs to the restricted area and adjacent structures, and related timber, sand, firing-marker and access-path works. The estimated value is €500,000; the works are scheduled to take five weeks, in addition to a two-week preparation period.
