Dormitory rehabilitation works

Summary

The National Institute for Blind Youth in Paris is procuring rehabilitation works for its dormitories, divided into nine lots: asbestos removal; clearance, demolition and structural works; external and internal joinery; floor and wall finishes; partitions and suspended ceilings; painting and site cleaning; heating, ventilation and plumbing; and electrical works. The project includes installing a shower, washbasin and toilet in each room in two second-floor Duroc dormitories, bringing the rooms into accessibility and fire-safety compliance, creating a shared living room and laundry room, and installing water and drainage networks for future work on the third floor. Lots 2 and 8 also include an optional work phase; overall project delivery is indicatively planned from summer 2027 to late spring 2028.
