Laboratory balances and maintenance and calibration services
Summary
The Finnish Customs Laboratory is procuring accredited calibration services for its laboratory balances. At the time the contract is prepared, the laboratory has 21 balances: analytical balances, top-pan balances and three floor scales; some analytical and top-pan balances have dual ranges. Each balance is calibrated once every two years according to the calibration plan, and the number and types of balances may change during the contract to meet operational needs.
