The North Karelia wellbeing services county is preparing a market consultation for a CO2 surgical laser system for its anaesthesia and operating department. The planned system would support microscope-assisted microsurgery, scanning, fibre-optic use and handpiece operation, for laryngeal microsurgery and treatment of laryngeal lesions and tumours, as well as surgery of the oral cavity and tongue.
