Traffic signal works on Porvoo’s western Aleksanterinkatu, intersections R209 and R212

Summary

Porvoo is procuring traffic signal equipment and materials, including installation, for two intersections. The works include installing traffic signals at the new R212 intersection of Taidetehtaan rantakatu and Läntinen Aleksanterinkatu, and replacing the signal controller at the R209 intersection of Aleksanterinkaari and Läntinen Aleksanterinkatu. The R212 intersection will also receive a lidar-based detection and analysis system. Both intersections must be operational by 29 January 2027, and the complete contract must be ready for acceptance inspection by 31 March 2027.
