Suvilahti Treatment Plant Building Envelope Renovation

Summary

Kiinteistö Oy Kaapelitalo is procuring the 2027 renovation of the exterior envelope of the treatment plant building at Suvilahti. The works include replacing the façade render with a three-coat render system, refurbishing the windows, renewing the roof and insulation down to the load-bearing concrete frame, and improving rainwater drainage with new gutters, downpipes and connected drains. The supporting steel structures for process pipes between buildings 9 and 6 will also be repaired. The works must account for the site’s ongoing rental and event activities, including restrictions during major events.
