Coagulation chemicals for the Vuohiniemi wastewater treatment plant 2027

Summary

The procurement covers ferric sulfate and polyaluminium chloride for the Vuohiniemi wastewater treatment plant for the period 1 January to 31 December 2027. Consumption in 2025 was 205.82 tonnes of ferric sulfate and 264.70 tonnes of polyaluminium chloride; orders will be placed as needed throughout the year. Approximate load sizes are 40 tonnes for ferric sulfate and 14 tonnes for polyaluminium chloride. The chemicals must be delivered and unloaded at the treatment plant site, Kivirannantie 11, 74130 Iisalmi. Prices must include the products, transport and unloading. The chemicals offered must have been tested at the Vuohiniemi plant and proven to work in its process. Price is the sole award criterion: the lowest combined VAT-exclusive per-tonne prices for both chemicals will be selected. The offer must be submitted in Finnish and remain valid for at least two months from the submission deadline. The deadline for submission is 20 October 2026 at 12:00. The bidder must provide the required registration, tax, pension insurance, collective agreement and occupational health care documents; taxes and social security contributions must be paid or covered by an approved payment plan.
