Development partner for the Toijala station area in Akaa

Summary

The City of Akaa is seeking a development partner to plan and coordinate the comprehensive development of the Toijala station area. The work covers land use, the city’s premises, commercial and other services, possible housing and assisted living, parking and feeder-traffic arrangements, and the general design of an underpass bridge at the Toijala railway yard. The partner will also coordinate the planned Kesko grocery-store project, provisionally covering 3,000–8,000 m² of floor area. Construction of the bridge, buildings, public areas and transport infrastructure is not included.
