Radioanalytical pyrolyser / sample combustion system for extraction of volatile radionuclides

Summary

The University of Helsinki is procuring a radioanalytical pyrolyser/sample combustion system for the Faculty of Science. The equipment will prepare environmental, decommissioning and radioactive-waste-related samples to determine volatile radionuclides, particularly tritium (H-3) and carbon-14, and preferably chlorine-36 and iodine-129. It is intended to handle a range of solid and liquid sample materials, with routine capacity of at least six samples per working day.
