Aerial Imaging Service 2027

Summary

This is a prior information notice, not a call for tenders. The National Land Survey of Finland plans to procure aerial imaging using a manned aircraft, together with related data-processing services, for 2027 and beyond. Two separate competitions are planned: spring imaging in 2027 covering approximately 20,000 km², and summer imaging for 2027–2029 covering approximately 86,000 km² in 2027 and approximately 55,000–60,000 km² per year in 2028 and 2029. The planned ground sampling distance is 25 or 30 cm. The imaging periods, delivery schedules and other requirements will be determined during the preparation phase. Interested companies may register by emailing their contact details to kilpailutus@hansel.fi by 9 October 2026, using the subject line “NLS: Aerial Imaging Service 2027”. Registered companies will have an opportunity to comment on draft procurement materials; participation in the market dialogue will not affect eligibility for the later tender. The final call for tenders and its annexes will be published in Finnish.
