Breast cancer screening examinations and other clinical mammography examinations

Summary

The tender covers a comprehensive breast cancer screening service and clinically indicated mammography examinations to supplement the Central Finland wellbeing services county’s own provision. The screening volume was approximately 13,600 examinations in 2025, while the volume of clinical mammography examinations was approximately 1,100 examinations, or about 21 examinations per week. The estimated total value of the screening lot is approximately EUR 1,980,000 and that of the clinical examinations lot approximately EUR 664,000; the contracting authority does not undertake to order a fixed volume. Partial tenders are allowed, but both lots will be compared and decided on as one overall procurement. If the same tenderer is selected for both lots, the contracting authority may combine them into a single contract.
