Electrical works for properties, street lighting and vehicle detection loop installation

Summary

The procurement covers electrical works for properties, maintenance and small investments in street and recreational-route lighting, and the installation and repair of vehicle detection loops at traffic-light-controlled intersections. It is divided into six lots, and a tender may be submitted for one or more lots. A framework agreement will be established for the period 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029, with a possible one-year option from 1 January to 31 December 2030. Lot 1 covers property electrical works for the Kuopio Evangelical Lutheran parish union, with bids allowed for one or all listed locations and three suppliers selected per location. Five suppliers will be selected for each of Lots 2 and 3, and three suppliers for each of Lots 4–6, provided they are economically most advantageous and meet the minimum requirements. In Lot 5, routine scheduled basic maintenance is carried out by the City of Varkaus and is excluded from the framework supplier’s duties.
