Request for tenders for arranging temporary care of stray animals

Summary

The procurement concerns temporary care and accommodation for stray or captured dogs, cats and other small companion or hobby animals in the areas of Raseborg, Hanko and Inkoo. The service provider must provide suitable shelter, food, water, exercise and social care; arrange veterinary first aid when needed; investigate owners, publish recovery notices, handle required notifications and microchipping or registration, keep animals for 15 days, maintain records for at least three years, report annual figures each January, and collect animals when necessary. In 2024, 37 stray animals were recorded, including 29 cats and 8 dogs, but these figures are not binding. Tenders must be submitted by 4 September 2026 at 09:00.
