YKP – Ventusneva Circuit 2 Construction Contract

Summary

The contract covers construction of a 110 kV underground cable connection, communications network and grounding network in the Kokkola area, between the Ventusneva and Ykspihlaja substations and the 3TEL and 23TEL cable termination structures. The works include cable trenching and protection, installation of a 96-fibre optical cable, grounding, cable terminations, overvoltage protection, crossings of existing infrastructure, reinstatement, testing, surveying and final documentation. The 110 kV power cable is supplied by the contracting authority, while the contractor supplies the optical cable and the other materials and accessories within its scope.
