Cloud backup storage using S3-compatible data storage

Summary

Unión de Mutuas is procuring cloud storage for S3-compatible backups of its corporate information for 36 months, divided into two lots according to data criticality. Lot I covers an estimated 25 TiB of higher-criticality data in a Tier IV data-centre infrastructure in Spain; Lot II covers an estimated 60 TiB of lower-criticality data in a Tier III-or-higher infrastructure in an EU Member State. Both lots require geographic separation of more than 50 km from the buyer’s main data centres.
