Automated Insulin Infusion Equipment and Hybrid Closed-Loop Systems for Type 1 Diabetes

Summary

Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorcón is procuring six months of insulin pump supplies and associated services for patients with type 1 diabetes treated by its Endocrinology and Paediatrics units. The three lots comprise an estimated 97 monthly kits for insulin pumps with continuous glucose monitoring; 11 monthly kits for tubeless patch pumps with an integrated control algorithm, compatible with more than one glucose-monitoring system (not included in the lot); and 27 monthly kits for integrated insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring. Pumps are provided on loan, with maintenance, software updates and user training included. The contract may be extended twice for six months each.
