Technology migration of the MC Digital platform to Liferay DXP

Summary

MC MUTUAL is procuring the migration of its MC Digital website and virtual office platform from Liferay DXP 2023.Q4 to Liferay DXP 2026.Q1 LTS or a later LTS version. The work covers installation and configuration across four environments, migration and adaptation of the platform’s applications, content, documents, templates, permissions, workflows, database and integrations, plus testing, production deployment, documentation and staff training. The platform includes 10 websites, approximately 1,900 web articles, 850 pages and 30,500 documents, as well as 79 Angular modules, 18 services/APIs, 46 additional Liferay modules and 11 themes. The main migration phase is planned for up to six months, followed by up to two months of optional support and adaptations; the overall contract may last up to 12 months. The separate Gamma REST services are outside the migration scope, while existing integrations are to be maintained.
