Lease of the Can Cortina Youth Hostel and Civic Centre

The tender offers a lease of the Josa i Tuixén municipality’s Can Cortina youth hostel and civic centre, including accommodation, a restaurant and a bar-café. The tenant must give priority to providing year-round accommodation and meals for schools, including full or partial board at the rate set by the education authority, and also serve visitors and tourists. The bar-café must follow the seasonal opening hours set out in the tender documents and open on local holidays and days with higher visitor numbers. The civic centre must remain open when the bar is closed, with the vending machine operating, public toilets maintained and other centre facilities available. The municipality retains the right to use the centre for local events. The contract starts upon signature, initially runs for one year and may be renewed annually for up to ten years. The minimum rent is €650 per month, plus VAT; lower offers will not be accepted. The activity plan and proposed rent each account for 50 points. The tenant will bear, among other things, utility, maintenance and repair costs, obtain the permits needed to operate, and take out the required insurance. The bid must include participation and activity-plan documents, together with evidence of the proposed team’s experience and training.
