Works to manage the urban–forest interface in Parres

Summary

The Municipality of Parres is procuring works to reduce wildfire risk in the 30-metre interface zone around rural settlements. The work includes clearing, pruning and thinning vegetation on plots and woodland, with biomass reduction and, in most cases, chipping of residues. The scope also includes 19 work shifts for four-person forestry crews using motorised hand tools and four-wheel-drive transport; the contract is not divided into lots and has a two-month completion period.
