Helicopter and wildfire coordination aircraft services

Summary

The Department of the Environment and Energy of Castilla y León is procuring aviation services for wildfire response in eight lots: 11 light single-engine helicopters, 6 medium twin-engine helicopters and 12 semi-medium single-engine helicopters for crew and equipment transport and firefighting, plus one coordination aircraft. The aircraft will support firefighting across the region, including water or foam drops; the coordination aircraft will coordinate aerial operations and provide live imagery. The contract runs for 36 months from 1 June 2027, with an option to extend by up to 24 months, and has a total budget of €93,655,300, exempt from VAT.
