Psychological support for the emotional wellbeing of children and young people

Summary

The Municipality of Vilafranca del Penedès is procuring a preventive, educational and community-based psychological support service to promote the emotional wellbeing of children, young people and families, and to advise and support educational teams. Lot 1 covers municipal nurseries for children aged 0–3, including observation and follow-up of children, support for nursery teams and guidance for families. Lot 2 covers the municipality’s two Training and Insertion Programmes (PFI), including individual support for young people and families, group work on emotional skills and support for teaching teams. The contract provides for up to 375 hours per lot (750 hours in total) through 15 July 2027, with an option to extend for one additional school year through 15 July 2028. The service is educational and preventive and does not include clinical diagnosis or treatment.
