DAB+ transmission centres in Madrid and Barcelona

Summary

RTVE is procuring turnkey supply, transport, installation, integration, configuration, testing and commissioning of DAB+ terrestrial digital radio transmission centres, to enable it to operate the service using its own infrastructure. Lot 1 covers Majadahonda, Arganda del Rey and Comercio in Madrid; Lot 2 covers Montjuïc and Palau de Plegamans in Barcelona. The works include transmitters, main and backup antenna systems, satellite and network equipment, synchronisation systems, racks, cabling and any necessary adjustments to the sites’ infrastructure. The estimated contract value is €860,000 excluding VAT.
