Paper and cardboard and biowaste collection, transport, and container maintenance and cleaning services

Summary

Leganés City Council is procuring an integrated municipal service for collecting, transporting and treating separately collected paper and cardboard, including door-to-door collection from shops, and collecting biowaste from large waste producers such as schools. The contract also covers special collections, container maintenance, repairs and cleaning; the current service includes about 536 public paper-and-cardboard containers, around 105 municipal and other authorised centres, about 154 participating shops, and door-to-door biowaste collection at 52 schools. There are no lots. The initial term is two years, with up to three annual extensions and a maximum total duration of five years.
