Statistical services for Tenerife’s meetings sector

Summary

SPET, Turismo de Tenerife is procuring a single, integrated statistical study of the meetings and events tourism sector (MICE) on Tenerife. The service will produce an annual report assessing the sector’s scale, development and economic and social impact, using official data, surveys of event participants and organisers, and interviews with industry stakeholders. The report will cover event and participant markets, seasonality, locations, event types, spending, motivations and satisfaction. The contract has an initial term of 12 months, with up to two 12-month extensions; it is not divided into lots.
