Supply, installation and maintenance of package and metal screening equipment

Summary

The Parliament of Catalonia is procuring, in a single lot, the supply, installation and maintenance of two integrated package- and metal-screening systems for its visitor and main entrances, plus an X-ray package scanner for the goods entrance. The contract also covers removal of obsolete equipment and the annual rental of an additional X-ray scanner, metal-detection arch and handheld detector for outdoor institutional events. Preventive and corrective maintenance is planned for three years, with possible two-year extensions for maintenance and rental; the initial budget is €137,500 excluding VAT.
