Collection, transport and disposal of healthcare waste at Cerro de la Plata and EMT operations centres

Summary

EMT is procuring a single, integrated service to supply, place and collect containers for healthcare waste, then transport, treat and dispose of the waste at authorised facilities, with documentation to demonstrate proper management and traceability. The service covers the occupational health and safety service at Cerro de la Plata and four operations centres: Fuencarral, Entrevías, Carabanchel and Sanchinarro. At Cerro de la Plata, collection is weekly for 52 weeks, with two 5-litre and two 30-litre containers per week; at each operations centre, one 30-litre and one 1-litre container are supplied and collected quarterly. The contract is for 60 months and is not divided into lots.
