Integrated waste management service for the Alt Penedès Garraf healthcare centres

Summary

Consorci Sanitari de l’Alt Penedès i Garraf is procuring an integrated waste-management service for five healthcare facilities: three hospitals, a rehabilitation centre and a primary-care centre. The service covers collection, transport, treatment, recovery or disposal of healthcare, special and municipal-type waste, together with the supply and replacement of the containers, packaging and consumables needed to manage it. Waste streams include healthcare and cytotoxic waste, medicines, chemicals, packaging, paper and cardboard, electrical and electronic equipment, batteries, oils and bulky waste. The indicative total generated in 2025 was 830,590.25 kg; this does not constitute a minimum collection commitment by the buyer.
