Qualitative impact study of antimicrobial resistance awareness campaigns

Summary

The tender seeks a qualitative impact study of three EU-JAMRAI 2 awareness campaigns addressing antimicrobial resistance and healthcare-associated infections in six countries: Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Bulgaria and Spain. The study will assess target groups’ knowledge, attitudes and opinions, campaign awareness, message comprehension and recall, persuasiveness, and potential to influence behaviour. Two campaigns target the general public, families and young people, while one targets hospital professionals; the campaigns include one based on visual art and one on performing arts. The work covers study-method and indicator design, a pilot, country-adapted focus groups or online discussion communities, comparative analysis, and interim and final reports with recommendations. The contractor must deliver a final report in Spanish and English and a visual study summary in both languages. The total contract period is up to 8 months from contract signature. The estimated tender value is EUR 104,000 excluding VAT. Participation requires the prescribed declaration and an electronically signed financial offer, as well as a suitably qualified team comprising one project coordinator and two sociology or psychology experts.
