Dental care for inmates at Ocaña I Prison

Summary

The contract covers on-site dental care for inmates at Ocaña I Prison during 2027. The provider will attend the prison once a week; 45 visits, or service modules, are planned for the year, with 20 inmates seen per module. Each module is priced at EUR 289.48 and the annual budget is EUR 13,026.95; the service is exempt from VAT. A module includes routine consultations and simple or complex tooth extractions that do not require hospital facilities. Consultations whose purpose is fitting a prosthesis are excluded from the module billing, and the patient bears the cost of the prosthesis. The prison provides the premises, dental chair and specified auxiliary materials; the provider must bring any additional instruments needed but not available at the facility. The contract runs from 1 January to 31 December 2027, with no extension. Offers are evaluated on price (75 points), the dentist’s experience (up to 10 points), qualification to operate dental X-ray equipment (5 points), and provision of the bidder’s own auxiliary staff (10 points). Bidders must submit a responsible declaration and price offer electronically within 10 working days from the day after publication of the notice. The provider must supply a dentist legally qualified to practise, comply with labour, safety, hygiene and infection-control requirements, and prepare monthly reports on consultations and procedures.
