Support for the reintegration of people with addiction-related needs serving sentences and their families in Mallorca

Summary

The contract covers therapeutic and educational support for people serving sentences who have addiction-related needs, and their families, at Mallorca Prison and during reintegration into family and community life. The service includes individual, group, family and community support: encouraging engagement with addiction treatment, preparing people for release and return to family life, advising families, organising support groups, sharing information about leisure activities, and coordinating with prison and community services. Work will take place at Mallorca Prison and, where relevant, at the social reintegration centre. The provider must ensure that at least one qualified professional works in Mallorca for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and appoint a project coordinator. The contract runs for 24 months from 1 October 2026 or a later contract-signing date and may be extended for up to three additional years. The estimated contract value is €61,066.12 excluding VAT; the total including 10% VAT is €67,172.74. Programme improvements account for 60% of the evaluation and price for 40%. The bid must include an action plan and a certificate from Mallorca Prison confirming that the plan is suitable and that the provider has permission to access the prison. Subcontracting is not allowed.
