Fuel supply for Mallorca Council vehicles

Summary

The Mallorca Island Council is procuring petrol 95 and class A and new class A diesel for its vehicles in four lots. Fuel will be supplied as needed at service stations on Mallorca using vehicle-specific magnetic-stripe cards or an equivalent system; heating oil and class C diesel are excluded. The supplier bears the cost of issuing, maintaining and replacing the cards. Quantities depend on actual consumption, and orders are placed within the approved budget. The lots cover the Council’s Presidency Department; Finance, Innovation and Public Service Department; Culture and Heritage Department; and Island Directorate for Sport. The contract runs for two years from 13 December 2026, or a later date stated in the contract, and may be extended up to twice for one year each. The total maximum budget is €129,480 including VAT. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and commit to maintaining at least five operating service stations on Mallorca. The offer must state one discount percentage applicable to all fuel types, provide price information for the three preceding complete months, and state the number of service stations on the island. Price is worth up to 95 points and station numbers up to 5 points. The supplier must issue a fuel card for each vehicle, ensure fuel is dispensed in accordance with the requirements, and provide each department with a monthly consumption report or access to an application containing that information.
