Reserve hours for medical and nursing care services

Summary

The tender is for a reserve of medical and nursing service hours to support the occupational health and work medicine service of Les Corts Valencianes when workload temporarily increases, staff are unavailable, or urgent care is needed. Services are provided on site and include medical and nursing care for employees, first aid, and urgent assistance to other people on the premises. The estimated annual requirement is up to 83 medical hours and 170 nursing hours, but the contracting authority is not obliged to use all of them. The budget and estimated contract value are €10,009, exempt from VAT; the maximum rates are €53 per medical hour and €33 per nursing hour. The contract runs for one year and cannot be extended. The provider must respond when requested: for an ordinary incident, it must name the professional within 24 hours and make that person available to provide the service within 72 hours; for an urgent incident, the respective deadlines are 6 and 24 hours. Normal service hours are working days from 8:30 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00, although parliamentary or institutional activity may require service outside those hours, including weekends and public holidays. Price is the sole award criterion: the medical hourly rate is worth up to 40 points and the nursing hourly rate up to 60 points. Bidders must provide the required evidence of capacity and experience and meet the financial and other suitability requirements.
