Recurring supply of specialty breads to support blood donor recovery

Summary

The tender is for the recurring supply of specialty breads and other small bakery products to support blood donor recovery at the Valencian Community Transfusion Centre. Products may include traditional breadsticks, rosquilletas, breads or bite-sized bakery items; varieties with sunflower seeds, other seeds or cereals; chocolate-chip varieties; and salted snacks. Each product must have a net weight of at least 35 g. Deliveries are made as needed to the Centre’s warehouses in Valencia, Alicante and Castellón. Ordinary orders must be delivered within 72 hours and urgent orders within 8 hours. Orders are expected approximately weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending on each centre’s needs. Suppliers must meet food safety and transport requirements, hold sanitary registration and appoint a technical coordinator from their own workforce. The budget is EUR 155,376 excluding VAT and EUR 161,591.04 including 4% VAT. The procurement uses a negotiated procedure without prior publication because no acceptable tender was received in the earlier procedure for the same requirement.
