Supply and installation of Christmas lighting in the Municipality of Marín 2026

Summary

The tender covers the rental, design, supply, installation, maintenance throughout the campaign, and post-holiday removal of Christmas lighting for the Municipality of Marín in 2026. The lights and decorative items remain the contractor’s property. The work also includes electrical installation design and legalisation, required permits and inspections, electrical connections, safety measures and installation documentation. The estimated quantities are 10 illuminated signs, 101 light arches, 69 lamp-post motifs and 88 other elements. These include lighting for building façades, trees, roundabouts, squares, gazebos and marquees, as well as accessible three-dimensional light displays. The proposed design must specify, street by street, the types, quantities, dimensions, locations and energy consumption of the elements, and include photomontages and an installation plan. At least 80% of the lighting must use high-efficiency LED technology. Installation is to start at an agreed time, with the lighting operational by 4 December 2026; removal must be completed by 31 January 2027 at the latest. Maintenance must be available around the clock, with the necessary team ready to respond to a fault within less than two hours, and the installations must be inspected twice a week. The budget is €90,000 excluding VAT and €108,900 including VAT; the contract is not divided into lots. Evaluation awards up to 35% for price, 20% for energy consumption and 45% for design quality. Bids must be submitted electronically within 15 calendar days of publication of the contract notice. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee of 5% of the contract price excluding VAT.
