Visitor reception building and entrance area works at the Iberian City of Ullastret, phases 2 and 3

Summary

The tender covers construction works for phases 2 and 3 of the visitor reception building and entrance area at the Iberian City of Ullastret. Phase 2 comprises the building’s structural system, including a reinforced-concrete wall, steel columns and a roof slab, together with improvements to the external access ramp. Phase 3 includes demolition of the existing building, external enclosure and glazing, internal partitions and finishes, and improvements to the external area and entrances. The planned building includes a reception area, sheltered outdoor space, two toilets—one accessible—and a vending area. The works must follow the project and take account of the archaeological heritage and ongoing visitor services. Bids are scored out of 100: the technical work method, schedule and team account for up to 25 points, and automatic criteria for up to 75 points, including price (55), full-time site-manager commitment (5) and an extended warranty (up to 15).
