Demolition of an industrial building

Summary

The tender concerns demolition of a 362.68 m² industrial building at Avda. Generalitat 1 in Caseres, clearing the site for future use. The building must be dismantled progressively and in a controlled manner, mainly by hand and with mechanical aids where needed, while protecting neighbouring buildings and services. The works include removing equipment and contents, dismantling the roof and structural elements, and sorting and properly managing the resulting construction waste. Asbestos-containing fibre-cement materials—including roof sheets, loose interior sheets and water tanks—must be removed by a suitably authorised company registered with RERA; evidence of waste disposal must be provided. The works must be completed within 30 days, or one month, from the setting-out inspection record. The estimated contract value is EUR 54,820.06 excluding VAT, with a maximum budget of EUR 66,332.27 including 21% VAT. The award is scored on price (30 points), technical improvements (50 points: clearing the interior and managing the waste, 30 points; constructing a 14 cm ceramic-brick party wall, 20 points), and an extended warranty (20 points, at 10 points per additional year). Economic and technical capacity need not be formally evidenced, but bidders must submit a responsible declaration and price offer and commit sufficient resources to the works. Bids must be submitted electronically within 10 working days of publication of the contract notice. A final guarantee equal to 5% of the offered price excluding VAT is required.
