Maintenance and landscaping of Palencia sports facilities and riverside areas

The tender covers comprehensive maintenance and landscaping at Palencia’s sports facilities, including the Isla Dos Aguas sports complex, its golf course and natural-grass sports fields, the Ribera Sur sports and recreation area, and riverside recreation areas, footpaths and cycle paths along the Carrion River. The contractor will provide year-round care of lawns, trees and shrubs; mowing, irrigation, fertilising, weed and pest control; specialist maintenance of the sports fields and golf course; cleaning; and maintenance and repair of irrigation, drainage and perimeter fencing. Offers are evaluated on price and quality: price is worth up to 60 points, providing a plant-waste shredder 5 points, the work programme 25 points, the quality-control plan 5 points, and service improvements a total of 5 points. The offer must include the required work and quality plans and describe the proposed staff, machinery, vehicles and improvements. Bids must be submitted electronically. During performance, organic waste must be composted and reused where feasible; the variable part of the monthly invoice depends on meeting quality standards and maintenance frequencies. Relevant experience, turnover, staffing and equipment requirements apply, and the successful bidder must provide supporting evidence and a third-party liability insurance policy for EUR 600,000.
