Supply and construction works for the La Hondura playground

Summary

The tender covers the supply, installation and completion of a playground of approximately 468 m² at the corner of Candray and El Sardinal streets in La Hondura, Puerto del Rosario. The contractor must supply, assemble, install, anchor and commission the play equipment, urban furniture, fencing and protective elements, and install a 50 mm continuous impact-absorbing surface on the existing concrete base: a 40 mm layer of recycled SBR rubber granules topped by 10 mm of TPV granules. The work also includes the auxiliary installation, fixing, assembly and finishing needed to complete and open the playground. Excavation, sub-base and concrete base construction, and kerbs were completed under an earlier contract and are not included. This is a single-lot open procedure. The contract period is three months from the day after signature. The estimated value is €229,061.83 excluding IGIC, and the maximum tender budget is €245,096.16 including 7% IGIC. Offers are evaluated on price (85 points) and an extension to the two-year warranty (an extra 12 months earns 5 points, 18 months earns 10 points, and more than 18 months earns 15 points). Bids must be submitted electronically within 30 calendar days of sending the contract notice to the EU Publications Office. Participation requires evidence of the stated financial and technical capacity and the declarations and documents specified in the tender documents. At handover, provide technical documentation for the playground equipment, user, inspection and maintenance manuals, and applicable UNE-EN 1176 test certificates or reports. For the installed surface, provide a test report under UNE-EN 1177:2018+A1:2024 confirming that, in the impact area of each item of equipment, the critical fall height is at least the equipment’s free fall height. During the works, the contractor must pay assigned staff on time and classify them according to their actual duties, ensure occupational health and safety, manage and recycle generated waste properly, and keep the work area signposted and protected.
